IBCSG Trial 38-10

27.08.2010

Activation of IBCSG Trial 38-10/BIG 3-07/TROG 07.01

IBCSG Trial 38-10/BIG 3-07/TROG 07.01 has been sent out for activation in selected centers. IBCSG is a Participating Group for this Breast International Group (BIG) trial conducted by IBCSG. The Trans Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG) is the Coordinating Group.

The trial is a randomized Phase III study of radiation doses and fractionation schedules for ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). The objectives of the trial are to improve the outcome of women with non-low risk DCIS treated with breast conserving therapy; and to individualize treatment selection for women with DCIS to achieve long-term disease control with minimal toxicity.

Further information can be found on the IBCSG website or by emailing the Trial 38 Team at ibcsg38_DCIS@fstrf.org
