2005 

In January 2005, the first results of the so far largest IBCSG study, the BIG 1-98 study, were presented in St. Gallen, Switzerland. In December their publication in one of the most prestigious medical journals followed and this lead to a total of publications of 164 up to the end of the year 2005.
