The latest results from the IBCSG 48-14/BIG 8-13 POSITIVE trial, presented at ESMO 2024, showed that breastfeeding after endocrine-responsive early breast cancer is feasible and does not confer an increased short-term risk of recurrence. Our data highlight the interest in breastfeeding among young breast cancer survivors and the need to include breastfeeding counselling in their individualized care.
