ETOP IBCSG Partners Foundation is a Swiss foundation governed by the ETOP IBCSG Partners Foundation Board. The Scientific Committee oversees the research agenda, and the Translational Research Working Group focuses on research involving collected tissue. All clinical trials are reviewed by an internal Ethics Committee. Interim and final results and safety reports from all ongoing clinical trials are reviewed semi-annually by the Independent Data Monitoring Committee (IDMC), an independent advisory group of expert oncologists, a statistician and a patient representative. ETOP IBCSG Partners Foundation is headquartered in Bern, Switzerland, with Statistical Center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, USA, Data Management Center at Frontier Science Foundation, Amherst, USA, and Central Pathology Review Office at the European Institute of Oncology, Milan, Italy.
