Why this work matters?
For young women, breast cancer is more than a medical diagnosis - it brings complex life challenges and often raises questions that go far beyond treatment:
Can I still
have
children?
How will my
body
change?
What will
happen to my
relationships?
How will this
impact my
career?
What about
my future?
To address these unique challenges, the ETOP IBCSG Partners Foundation leads the Program for Young Patients (PYP), a non-profit international research initiative dedicated to improving care and quality of life for young women with breast cancer.
One of its most groundbreaking projects, the POSITIVE study is exploring whether anti-hormone therapy can be safely paused to allow women to pursue pregnancy. This pioneering research is already helping women to make more informed decisions about their future with greater confidence and hope.
Your support makes this work possible!
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I feared I would have to choose between surviving and becoming a mother. Knowing that the POSITIVE trial existed gave me confidence to make decisions about my future. Today, I am both a survivor and the mother of a wonderful girl.
Ilaria,
POSITIVE trial participant

Who we are
The Pink Ladies began in 2017 as a small group of employees, family members, and friends connected to the International Breast Cancer Study Group. Today, we bring people together through fundraising and community activities for one shared goal: to advance research for young women facing breast cancer.
We support the Program for Young Patients by raising awareness, and bring hope to women around the world. Every event, every donation, and every gesture of support helps move this mission forward.
Join us! Support young women facing breast cancer!
The Pink Ladies are highlighting an important issue at the Swiss Women's Run. Women with breast cancer deserve our solidarity. I thank the Pink Ladies for their invaluable commitment.

Walking, selling roses, or simply showing up in pink, every gesture counts. We do it for the women who inspire us every day, and for the hope research brings to their future.
